Learn to Play the Music you Love!
Music lessons are divided into three parts:
* Learn To Play Songs
* Music Technique
* Music Theory
Music Lessons are taught by professional musicians with full clearances and years of Teaching Instruments, Song Writing, Recording and Performance experience.
Lessons are a half hour long or an hour. Scholarships are available. Have fun and learn at your own pace!
All teachers have clearances including;
* Federal Clearance
* Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
* Pennsylvania Back Ground Clearance
BUILD-A-BAND - Students received an introduction to Piano keyboard, Guitar, Violin, Bass, Voice, Drums and Music Vocabulary. "Music Centers Contracts" list the skills and objectives for each of the music centers. Students practice the skills needed to become proficient on the instrument at the music center.
The Build-A-Band music program, developed by Lisa Wolfe, is based on the "Differentiated Learning Style" of teaching. Students work on skills independently and at their own pace in each of the four Music Centers. The centers include: Guitar Center, Piano Keyboard Center, Violin Center and Music Vocabulary Center.
Each group or class choses a song to learn and perform in a concert. Students learn skills to work together as a band, start a song, listen to others, negotiate & compromise, arrange music, be appropriate with language & issues when choosing a song. Students develop a sense of accomplishment from learning a song and performing it together as a band in a concert.
MUSIC CAMP - "Have Fun Learning music"
Each participant is given an opportunity to perform on stage in a band! Learn skills to work together as a band, start a song, listen to others, negotiate & compromise, arrange music, be appropriate with language & issues and choose songs.
Introduction to Guitar, Piano, Voice, Drums, Bass and Violin. We have all the instruments or you can bring your own instrument.
MULTICULTURAL RHYTHMS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
Curriculum based on discovering the similarities and differences of rhythms and percussion instruments form different regions around the world i I including Africa, Latin America and Asia. Hands on instruments include Drums, Shakers, Bells and other percussion instruments.
MUSIC LESSONS .
Half hour of music lessons with a teacher on Drums, Lead Guitar, Guitar, Piano, Voice, Bass, Cello, Violin, Viola, Percussion, Saxophone, Flute, Intermediate & Adv. Jazz Piano, Song Writing, CD Cover, Recording, Song to CD.
SONG-TO-CD
Offered at beginner, intermediate and expert levels. Work together to learn the process of creating and recording a song. Experiment with lyrics, melodies and beats.
